Intimacy
Description
This project will showcase intimacy between lovers. Intimacy has many forms, from casual to deep, from emotional to physical.
While some images will be more explicit than others, that will be achieved through suggestion - unlike pornography, the focus is not on genital interaction, but on capturing the emotional interaction. The viewer's imagination will be responsible for filling in the rest, if they so choose.
These photos are intended to show intimacy between lovers, sometimes toeing the line on explicit, but not crossing it - I'm not looking to capture anything more racy than what you'd find on the likes of HBO. I want to capture the casual closeness couples share, cuddling nude, or just being comfortable touching each other's bodies intimately but not sexually. To capture the sensuality, before it turns into lust.
What I'm looking to shoot for this project
I have a wide range of shots I want to capture for this project.
- Images for a "Caught In The Act" photo set: "You've seen it - lovers lost in themselves and oblivious to the world around them. Perhaps walking by an alley, you noticed them locked in a kiss. Or a steamy hand print on a car's back window, the subtle rocking and suggestive shadows giving away the secret tryst. These photos will capture those moments, from a respectable and unobtrusive distance - acknowledging without intruding."
